Inspiring others and sharing my Journey

Hello! My name is Jennifer Voss and welcome to my website and blog. I have been certified as a personal trainer since 2016 and teaching fitness classes for more than 10 years in the suburbs of Chicago. During this time, I have acquired several other certifications including yoga, pilates, spin and my first love zumba. Running came later in my career, I ran my fist half marathon in 2012 the Chicago Rock n Roll Half marathon. So if you have never had the desire to run, I am here to tell you never say never! As a mom of two kids (who are now teenagers) I have always tried to model a healthy and active lifestyle. So in addition to reading about fitness you will find food and recipes shared here that are family friendly and simple. I mean in todays society with our busy lifestyles, we need simple solutions to keep moving and to prepare nutritious meals for ourselves and our families. 

As a reader of my blog if you are starting out on a health journey or looking to take your fitness to a new level you are in the right place. It is my intent to offer inspiration, motivation, tips and resources for you to be successful in reaching YOUR health and fitness goals. By sharing my journey with you, I hope you see glimpses of aha moments where you are like "oh yeah, that is exactly where I am right now." You will also see reviews and occasional give-a-ways here. It is my hope to serve a community of fit minded individuals to get happier and become a positive influence on the people in their lives as well.  

Posts will be weekly, sometimes daily here, so check back often. I welcome guest link ups with other bloggers and I encourage you to comment and provide feedback as well as reach out with any fitness/health related or questions that you are needing answered to reach your goals.
